The People Behind Thanking Local

Hi! I am an 18 year old high school student at San Ramon Valley High School and I created Thanking Local!!! As I sat at home in quarantine I watched first responders saving lives and local businesses closing shop on almost every TV station. I first wanted to help the first responders because I never saw them taking a break or being rewarded for their hard work. I thought we could change that with these bags. By giving Thanking Local Bags we show our thankfulness to these heroes. When looking for what companies products to use in the bags I remembered the stories of local businesses going out of business on the news. This caused my gears to spin and thus, Thanking Local was born!
